Partners, suppliers, customers and well-wishers were treated to an evening of cocktails, food and yoghurt desert during the event to officially launch the MilkMan brand at Jazzville in Bugolobi.
MilkMan yoghurt is the first product that has been launched under the MilkMan brand and is currently available in all major supermarkets in Kampala in four main flavors – Strawberry, Mango, Vanilla and Plain – in both 450g family size and 170g individual size. The yoghurt will be followed by milk that is to be launched in the near future.
Mr. EyalJones, theVital Capital Fund Chief Executive Officer, thanked all the suppliers, local farmers and the customers for showing support for this new brand.
“Today is a very special day to us because it marks the completion of a two-year journey that we embarked on with Tomosi’s Dairy – a USD $13 million impact investment that gave birth to Vital Tomosi’s Dairy,” he said, adding that high-tech machinery and state-of-the-art technology has been employed at the facility which also houses modern storage facilities and advanced laboratories in order to taste all the products to ensure that they are of good quality.
Speaking during the launch, Ms. Noa Hameiri, the Chief Marketing Officer thanked all the guests for honoring the invitation to come and celebrate the official launch of the MilkMan brand.
“Milkman is a unique combination of old and new, heritage and progress, centuries of cattle keeping culture and ultra-modern dairy farming. It is the result of a transformation from long lasting heritage to advanced technology and modern practices. All of our yoghurt is made from natural ingredients – no preservatives, no artificial colors and flavors- in order to create the healthiest, best quality and most authentic products that can be achieved,” she said.
During the launch event, guests were treated to a sumptuous BBQ dinner, cocktails and live band music from the Code 9 band. Guests were also treated to desert that comprised of the different MilkMan yoghurt flavors.
