How about Rihanna? That skin looks like it has never known a pimple or scar!
(I can hear you mumble … make up, photo editing, & Botox). I know, yeah, they use a lot of makeup (Lipstick colors, foundation, translucent powder, lip gloss, cream, mascara, pencil eyeliner, concealer) but damn they look so hot! (But to be honest, they work out a lot too, more than you can actually imagine!)
There’s just one problem, when the makeup is off … that ‘beauty’ somehow fades.

If you ask me, I don’t think queen B wakes up looking the way she does while on stage or the red carpet.
What am I doing?
I’m showing you that makeup can do wonders! No doubt. The right make up, used properly, will do wonders!
But what happens when you don’t have the money to buy that type of makeup? When you don’t know how to apply it like a pro? When you don’t have a personal stylist? What happens when you are scared of using foreign cosmetics because you heard somewhere that toxins from those cosmetics could increase your chances of getting cancer? What do you do?
Wouldn’t you want to go to bed with no makeup but still wake up looking a beauty queen? No pimples, scars, dry skin, wrinkles, and acne gone … just a smooth, clear, glowing skin left?
It’s very possible by the way; and I’m not talking about swallowing pills or injecting ‘stuff’ in your skin. That will cost you an organ. Those ‘things’ are not cheap (in terms of money and side effects)
I’m talking about common fruits, vegetables, (foods in general), that you can plant in your backyard … that you can find by the roadside … that you can buy from the market on your way home. They are usually affordable, and have no side effects.
You are what you eat
The next time you think of great skin or a beautiful, young, sexy look, think of these foods;
Sweet potato, Pumpkin, Carrots, Bananas, Papaya, Cabbage, Spinach, Broccoli, Tomatoes, Avocado, Water melon, Orange, berries, nuts, seeds (e.g. Chia & pumpkin seeds), Ginger, Lemon, Honey, Oats, among others.
Let me tell you a secret. There’s something about orange foods and leafy vegetables. They are amazing for your skin.
There are so many ways to consume these foods.
- You can eat them the way they are, for example, grab a carrot and eat it.
- You can put them in water and drink the diffused water. You could put lemon, and ginger in water and take that water the next morning.
- You can make a smoothie. For example put bananas, papaya in a blender and drink the juice after.
- You can use them for facial masks. Honey does this best.
I don’t know how many times you have heard people say that drinking lots of water on a daily is very, very vital. You will never know the weight of this statement till you get addicted to drinking water.
Oh, the joy you will get!
