Nothing drains people’s pockets like the festive season.
It isn’t surprising that January, which follows the festive season always appears to be almost thrice as long as other months.
However, this has been changing in the previous years thanks to Jumia’s ‘Black Friday’ which allows people to save as much as they can while shopping during the festive season.
And as the season nears, Jumia’s Black Friday is also set for a return.
According to Jumia’s PR, Cynthia Tumwine, “there will be amazing deals and discounts on Jumia Mall for household items, accessories, electronics that people do not want to miss out on”.
Unlike in other countries where ‘Black Friday’ lasts for just a day, Jumia’s stretches from November 24th-December 8th, where people buy different items at amazing discounts.
“This is done to allow people more time other than just the one day. Black Friday deals shall cut across Jumia Mall, Food and Travel.”
Meanwhile, Jumia House and jobs is centralizing its operations to ensure that the optimal digital innovation in form of product development in these two specific segments is maintained.
Jumia Jobs and House (Classifieds) will now be centralised in Kenya while the rest like Jumia Mall, Jumia Travel and Food will continue operating locally.
