Scandinavian events Organiser brings ‘Million Dollar Party’ to Uganda

November and December is always party time for Ugandans most especially, those who live abroad.
It’s always time for them to enjoy their sweat in the motherland.But unlike the previous years, this year is very unique.
Ugandans for the first time will be treated to an exclusive Scandinavian party thanks to Joseph Wajjala, a successful events host based in Denmark.Having organised successful parties in Scandinavia through his company, Scandinavian Haves, Joseph has decided to do the same for his motherland.
Dubbed ‘The Million Dollar’ party, it is slated for 30th November at Club Guvnor.
And unlike the usual parties thrown by diaspora based Ugandans, he says he is not here for competition.
“The main reason for hosting the party is coz I want to give back to my people. Having organised several successfully parties in the diaspora, why not do the same for my country?” he said at a press conference held at Guvnor.
“I am not here to throw money at people. No. What makes this party different from others is, it’s going to be an exclusive Scandinavian party and just like the name, revellers will be treated to the most expensive Wines and Champagnes.”
He revealed that revellers will be treated to Louis Rederere, one of the most expensive drinks in the world currently only found in Europe.
And it won’t end at just drinking expensive drinks and partying, revellers will stand a chance of winning prizes among which include mobile phones and Flat TVs.
“Whoever pays for the party will enter a draw to win these prizes,” said Joseph.
He promised revellers to expect something they’ve never experienced and this will be happening on an annual basis.
Being into hospitality where he owns a chain of restaurants in Denmark, Joseph boasts of having flown big names like Konshens, Demarco, Mr Flavour, Timaya to mention a few exclusively for his parties.
